Together for the Gospel exists for the sake of the glorious good news of Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to call church leaders from across denominational traditions to stand together for the gospel of Jesus’ perfect life, substitutionary death, and sin-conquering resurrection.

To that end, T4G gathers pastors biennially to consider this God-exalting, life-changing message, a message that, ironically, provokes the world’s opposition. They call it a stumbling block and foolishness. But we know it is the power of God for salvation. And so we are unashamed.

Like Paul, pastors often pray that God would open doors to declare the mysteries of Christ. And then, sure enough, opposition turns into opportunity. Obstacles become openings.

Therefore our prayer is that God would use T4G 2014 to embolden us to share the gospel in the face of obstacles and opposition—that we might say with Paul, “I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed.” For Christ is not ashamed to call us brothers, and God is not ashamed to be called our God.
